Summary: We love the idea of staying in historic properties, and The Miners Hotel certainly delivers on uniqueness and character. That said, cleanliness and freshness are equally important, and unfortunately this is where things fell short for us. As a family of five, we were disappointed to find the accommodations better suited to four, despite assurances otherwise. For the price, we expected a higher level of comfort and accuracy in the listing. While the experience of staying in a period hotel in Butte is memorable, the overall value simply didn’t live up to the billing. In short — charming and historic, yes — but be sure to confirm the room details closely before booking.
