Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hotel is handily located for the railway station and for exploring the whole centre of Nimes. Everything is in easy walking distance. Both the public spaces and the rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are very helpful and attentive and at one stage we wound up with three sets of towels. The view over the rooftops of the city from the fourth floor breakfast room is exceptional. In summer there would be a roof terrace which, since we were there in January, we didn't use.

Negative: Room was a little small. The breakfast was rather disappointing as the "hot" food was only lukewarm although the quality was acceptable.

Summary: Centrally located and good value for money with helpful staff.
