Summary: Overall, the condo facilities, cleanliness, and staff friendliness were good, but I had a terrible experience during the check-in process. After check-in, I entered the condo and found the bed broken and leaning as if it could collapse. I called the front desk, but all I heard was “OK, OK,” and no one ever came. A staff member passing by told me someone would come by 8:30 PM—unbelievable. I called the concierge again, but they had no idea what was happening. When I asked to change rooms, they asked whether I would drive to the front desk myself or wait for their call. Of course, no call ever came, so I drove 10 minutes to the front desk and had to explain everything again. Even though I had to repeat the whole story at the concierge desk, one competent concierge finally changed my room without making things any more difficult. I went back, packed everything again, and moved to the new room. I wasted over an hour and a half of my time, received no apology, no compensation—just “Happy Thanksgiving.” I understand it might not be easy to switch rooms quickly during a busy holiday weekend, but I still can’t understand how no one noticed such an obvious issue with the bed and allowed the room to be checked in.
