Summary: Lovely hotel. Rooms spacious and immaculate.
Only disappointment was the food. Menu was not really to our taste and when we did manage to find something suitable the cooking was not great. My comments about tough meat which I couldn't eat were acknowledged.
Otherwise great stay.

Summary: A unique ancient hotel yet so comfortable. Very popular, so busy, but the staff are so attentive and friendly. The only minus is parking which is difficult due to the whole area being ancient so do parking areas really. I thoroughly recommend it though.

Summary: A beautiful old building full of character and nooks and crannies. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The village of Dunster is lovely with so much to discover close by.
The room that my husband and I stayed in was very stylish, large and clean. The only downside was that it was four flights of stairs up.
With us both in our 80's it was sometimes a bit of a struggle but given another week we may well have got used to it! I probably should have checked this when booking.
I would recommend the Luttrell Arms to anyone who has a love of history and the English countryside.

Summary: From the very warm welcome to the chatty farewell, everyone we encountered was super friendly and polite. The room was secure, clean and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice to suit everyone. Evening menu has a limited choice, but food good.
The hotel has all the old creaking charm you could want, with lots of nooks and crannies to tuck yourselves into for a drink. Cracking beer garden with a castle view.
Parking round the corner in the public car park unless you’re lucky enough to get one in the market square high street.
We loved every minute of our stay and hope to visit again in the autumn.
