Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We had a lovely, clean room; nicely spacious for 2 people and a labrador. Walk in shower/wet room is large and clean. Kitchenette has a small sink, microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge and basic utensils. The owners are updating the rooms at the moment - we stayed in the old version but it was still very fresh and clean. The new kitchenette layout does look better though, with a larger work area/worktop, however, we made what we had in our room work for our stay. The bed was comfortable. There are no radiators in the room, instead there is underfloor heating in the bathroom and bedroom, which heats the rooms gradually and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. The cafe on site is really worth a visit for delicious breakfast food, hot drinks and snacks. The owner Kirsty and her staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Wifi is fast and strong, constant connection. Great starry nights when the sky is clear and we heard an owl during our stay; no traffic noise during the night. We enjoyed it so much at Lillypool we extended our visit by x2 extra nights and will be returning to stay again in future. Thanks so much everyone ♡
