Positive: The location and the manager of the property (Gaelle) were excellent. A great welcome and support throughout.

Negative: The owner of Le Clos was unhelpful and inflexible when the air conditioning failed a few days before we were due to arrive. We were offered a smaller apartment (from three down to one bedroom) but no refund. When we asked we are offered a small reimbursement of 140 euros. Not acceptable when we had paid over 3400 euros for an air conditioned three bedroom apartment. Gaelle the manager was amazing and tried to do everything she could to make up for it. Luckily the weather wasn't too hot and we were able to get by with fans, but shouldn't have had to for the price paid.

Summary: Be wary of paying full price upfront: you won't get any money back if it goes wrong
