Positive: Lovely swimming pool and a very refreshing dip on a warm day. room was clean and comfortable, lovely surroundings

Negative: friends travelling with us had made a special booking in the restaurant for us all (6 people) for her special birthday, hotel said they never received the request as it was done thru their 3rd party booking site even tho my friend had a reply email so as they were fully booked in the restaurant we had to go elsewhere for dinner which was a 100Euro taxi ride, the hotel management really didn't offer more than to say she should have phoned them direct for the restaurant booking, they did send a bottle of champagne to the restaurant we dined in. The only reason we stayed at this chateau was the on site restaurant and management certainly didn't go out of their way to help rectify a problem.

Summary: Lovely friendly staff but management needs some customer service training
