Positive: The room that I was in was quite clean and minimal. Being so small it has to be uncluttered and very clean.

Negative: For such a busy hostel/hotel is disappointing to find that 90% of the reception staff could not communicate with me even in basic words in English. If you are representing their reception of Hospitality venue of this sort you need to have half a personality and you need to understand the true meaning of Hospitality. Most of the staff were not even engaged to have eye contact in communication… So there is absolutely no sense of Hospitality here… there was a constant fan noise in the room 24/7 and when I enquired what it was or if I could stop it one of the staff at the front said that it had to be like that to circulate air.. no bathroom window… So very little ventilation from the front window at that open to the outside so it could not be left open overnight.. the only toiletry offered was a general detergent which was proposed for hair and body wash… No soap on the Basin of any sort… No tissues just very harsh rough toilet paper … The pillows were very cheap quality and very tired… the Linen however was okay overall … as I was travelling alone. I wanted 24 hour reception and security however my room was in a corridor that was accessible from the public side street … I didn’t feel so safe ..this is a very practical accommodation to simply sleep and get out and about to explore the city… It was great that it was close to transport so it made it convenient.. I was there for four nights ..paid on arrival and there was absolutely no contact or communication by anyone to ask me how I’m going or how everything is??
