Positive: The staff were extremely welcoming and polite, the room had air con, the bed was very comfortable, there was a kettle and some tea and coffee provided, the linen is good, the breakfast was good. My room was located far from the lift/stairs and was quiet. I had a good night's sleep.

Negative: I had great difficulty finding the hotel due to works in the surrounding area (so not the fault of the hotel although it would be helpful to put up a sign and perhaps light up the outside entrance - I arrived at night). I could not park close to the hotel so could have been a problem if I had had more luggage. I parked in a multi storey car park around 200ms away. There was renovation work going on in the reception/entrance/ground floor which gave a terrible first impression - once I found the entrance.
