Positive: Overlooked lake/water. And felt private in terms of window visibility. Spacious for 4 people with one sleeping on sofa bed. (The double bed is more like a full). Nice and warm! Large tv with good internet based streaming options. Didn’t really watch it, but we checked it out!

Negative: It was above an existing dwelling and easy to hear footsteps/movement. We stayed for a night that turned out unexpectedly snowy. After a late night due to one daughter’s sports competition and driving slowly due to conditions, we were unfortunately woken up at 7:30am by inhabitants downstairs using a very loud leaf blower, somewhat ineffectively clearing the snow from the driveway. We did not really get to enjoy the peace of the location and my girls were very tired! The main thing my family commented on was the light smell of stale beer or marijuana that lingered. Not sure if it was from the previous guests or if the smell has built up over time. We were only staying for one night and left by 9am, so we didn’t get to enjoy the property or explore the area much. Becca the owner was very responsive and very friendly/helpful. Suggest to leave printed instructions to explain key access/ wifi network and password / garbage instructions or anything else about functionality of the home. A nice add on would be local places for conveniences or restaurants, walking trails or things to do. The hygiene/toiletry kit was a nice touch but inadequate for 4 people (mainly for showering). The coffee maker was cute, and worked well but would have been far too small for 4 adults! Or even 2 that drink a lot of coffee! (Only I had a cup so it wasn’t a big deal).
