Welcome to our home! We hope it will suit your needs and provide you with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Our home has (2) main floor bedrooms, one en suite half-bath and another half-bath. There is also a loft upstairs that has a bunk bed, a full bed and a view that makes you feel like being in a treehouse. We have a ‘soft’ maximum occupancy of 8 people, but please ask for accommodation if desired.
There is a full residential kitchen along with basic utensils, cookware and appliances. (See also ‘Amenities’). We also have a small ‘snack pantry’ with convenience items for sale (frozen pizzas, ice cream treats, freezies, chips, cookies, mac &cheese boxes, smores ingredients, etc.) Propane grill and Blackstone griddle are available for use. There is a cozy living room in the main space that has a 55” smart TV and a nook with books, kids games and board games.
We also have a beautiful 750 sq. ft. porch/sunroom with comfortable seating as well as a dining area. The porch is climate-controlled and has a smart video projector and screen. Outside, there is a huge deck overlooking the river valley. Outdoor seating is provided and there is a rather amazing outdoor shower. Enjoy stunning solitude and views of deer, coyotes, bald eagles, turkey, pheasant, geese and ducks along with countless songbirds.
Your rental includes the yard around the home, extending west as far as the rope marker. In the yard, you’ll find a firepit and a yard barn with lawn chairs and cushions. We also have beanbag games, 4-square, tetherball and bocci ball. (Please see ‘Rules’ section regarding campfires.) Sunrise and sunset are not to be missed. Catch the sunset or stargaze from the bench in the east yard for a great view downriver!
