Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay & the hosts where extremely amenable, especially around checkout. Positives: - A beautiful, peaceful property - the living area is stunning, comfortable & great views over the vines - The swimming pool was AMAZING - huge, crystal clear & perfect temperature. We couldn't fault it. Comfy loungers too. - The plancha & bar area - easy way to cook and great spot for meals - Comfy beds - Plenty of hot water for showers - Well equipped kitchen - Good location if you have a car Negatives: The property feels a little unloved - the dishwasher & fridge doors were broken, one of the fridges didn't work, the induction hob buttons didn't always work, one of the treadmills in the gym was out of order & one of the sockets didn't work so you couldn't use the x trainer & other treadmill at the same time. When we arrived the hot tub water was green (the maintenance guy was off sick) but the filter clearly hadn't been cleaned all summer. We had permission to empty it & start again - luckily we knew what we were doing so we could use it! Also worth noting - the 2 ensuite bedrooms only have a bath/shower. The 2 toilets are separate & shared by all. Would have been nice to have bikes to cycle to the boulangerie. It's a 3km round trip. Overall, great property (and the best pool), but could easily be perfect with a little extra attention.
