Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Labenne. It is very close to marvellous beaches and, on a practical side, close enough to a well stocked supermarket. The owner was very helpful. There is comfortable garden furniture for relaxing in the largish garden. The road at the back of the property can be a little noisy in 'rush hour' but generally peaceful and certainly so at night. There is wifi which wasn't listed on the property details. Labenne is a good base from which to explore other coastal towns and the historically fascinating city of Bayonne. The apartment itself is beautifully and simply decorated with an extremely well fitted out kitchen and blissfully comfortable huge sofa. If you don't feel like cooking there is a very good boulangerie with little outside tables where we had excellent croissants for breakfast a couple of times, and plenty of reasonably priced eating places in Labenne Ocean (5 minutes drive away, or along the cycle path) for lunch or dinner. The only thing I would be wary of in future is that the house is on an estate where some of the houses are still being constructed so do check there isn't going to be noisy building work while you are staying there if you plan on quiet days not going out and about.
