Travel Purpose: business

Positive: A nice, cozy apartment for one, or at most two people, with a beautiful view over the valley. It’s only fifteen minutes from École Polytechnique — which was really important to me — if you take the shortcut uphill. The more convenient route takes a bit longer, but we’re not looking for easy ways, are we? There’s a decent kitchen in the apartment, and you can enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace. The garden is a bit abandoned, but it suits the atmosphere quite well. If you don’t have a car, the apartment is about ten minutes from the nearest RER station downhill, and about the same distance from the bus stop uphill. The Orlyval plus commuter train is a cheap and comfortable way to get to the apartment from Orly.

Negative: Not disadvantages, but things to keep in mind: * The apartment has a ceramic tile floor, so if you’re traveling during the cold season, bring warm socks or slippers. * The restroom is quite small. * The atmosphere is humid, which might feel unusual for travelers from the north.
