Summary: This was our first Family visit to Paris. I picked this hotel because of price and location. I googled location to the heart of Paris and it showed about 25 minutes. Having lived in New York for 20 years I knew this was not city center but more like a suburb. 25 minutes is a breeze to travel as we would spend all day in Paris checking out the sights. We loved this place. It is a very quiet area. The Hotel/house is huge sitting on private grounds. It was so beautiful with flowers and Fountains. This was very different to anything I have stayed in before. I usually stay about 120 nights a year in hotels for my job in USA. This was so different than anything I have stayed in before. My kids said it is the best hotel they ever stayed in. Why--Because it is different--No city hustle & bustle. Very peaceful. Owner was great to communicate with---Yes she speaks English. This place was so in line with Paris countryside living. We loved the charm of the place. We used UBER and trains to get to our sightseeing adventures. Train to Heart of city was 25 minutes. Very inexpensive to travel to your destinations. We are an adventurous family so this suited us perfectly. Also a hidden gem is that the Chateau de Versailles is about 20 minutes away by UBER. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris. I would advise to call ahead a day or 2 before you arrive to get the code to open the secure gate to property. We give this place a big thumbs up.
