Summary: If you’re accustomed to spacious American style hotels, you’ll need to adjust your expectations. If you want to experience an old-style Parisian hotel and one that doesn’t break the bank, this hotel would be a decent choice. It is due for a refresh. But I found my room to be more than adequate. It was clean, a decent bed and good water pressure in the shower. It was quiet even though it is on a major street. The staff was very personable and professional. The location is super convenient as it’s just steps away from the Place de la République, the metro and several bus routes.
