Positive: We had a lovely stay at Gîte chez Jo & Mel in Bannost. The location is remote and peaceful—perfect for a quiet getaway. The house was exactly as described online: spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We appreciated the large fridge, washing machine, and the outdoor seating area, which included a space for kids to play. There was also plenty of free parking, with room for up to three cars if needed. The host was very communicative and polite, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm and comfortable stay in the countryside

Negative: We found the number of house rules and regulations a bit overwhelming. Nearly every room had notices or printed instructions, which created a slightly anxious atmosphere—especially with a €400 deposit involved. It felt a bit strict, particularly when staying with a young child. While overall well-equipped, some features of the house weren’t entirely child-friendly, which is worth considering for families with toddlers.
